Associate Professor
Miriana Kfoury was born in Lebanon in 1990. She obtained her PhD in Chemistry and Biotechnology in cotutelle between the Université du Littoral Côte d’Opale and the Lebanese University in 2015. From 2016 to 2021, she was an assistant professor at the Lebanese University. She will be appointed Associate Professor in September 2021. Her research activities focus on
- Evaluation of the encapsulation capacity of cyclodextrins in non-conventional media (mixed solvents, deep eutectic solvents).
- Development of analytical methods for the characterisation of host/guest inclusion complexes.
- Development of binary or ternary formulations for the retention and solubilisation of volatile substances (VOCs, aromas, essential oils).
- Evaluation of the biological activities of the formulations.
